A community-led campaign for the future of
Hackett’s Cove Park

Hackett’s Cove Park is a 5.5 acre, municipally owned and designated community park situated at 9280 Peggy’s Cove Road.

Designated as municipal parkland since the 1970s, the land is unique for many reasons: it is the largest designated municipal park between Glen Haven and Peggy’s Cove, and is the only municipal park on the east side of St. Margaret’s Bay with ocean access.

Although this park is currently undeveloped, densely treed, and inaccessible , we hope to change that through a community-driven push for an HRM-led community consultation to capture our community’s vision for a future accessible park we can all enjoy on this beautiful parcel of public parkland.
